Down-flow Rotary Kiln:

Suitable for low moisture, high volatile materials, the down-flow operation mode is widely used in waste incineration systems. It offers advantages such as lower temperature at the kiln head, simplified arrangement for feeding, air intake, and maintenance, along with effective control measures to prevent slag melting from high calorific value waste.

Counter-flow Rotary Kiln:

Designed for waste materials with higher moisture content and low flammability, the counter-flow rotary kiln is ideal for sludge drying. It requires higher flue gas temperature and longer contact time for effective drying and volatile water release.
