Down-flow Rotary Kiln:

It offers advantages such as lower temperature at the kiln head, simplified arrangement for feed, air intake, and auxiliary burner, and convenient operation and maintenance. It includes control means to prevent melting slag from high calorific value waste.

Counter-flow Rotary Kiln:

Designed for waste materials with higher moisture content and low flammability, the counter-flow kiln is ideal for sludge drying. It requires higher flue gas temperature and longer contact time for effective drying and volatile water release.
