Down-flow Rotary Kiln:

Suitable for low moisture, high volatile materials, the down-flow operation mode is commonly used in waste incineration systems. It offers advantages such as lower temperature at the kiln head, simplified arrangement for feed, air intake, and auxiliary burner, and convenient operation and maintenance. This type of kiln includes control measures to prevent melting slag from high calorific value waste.

Counter-flow Rotary Kiln:

Designed for waste materials with higher moisture content and low flammability, the counter-flow rotary kiln is ideal for sludge drying. It requires higher flue gas temperature and longer contact time to effectively dry materials and release volatile water.
