RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer) primarily consists of a regenerative chamber, an oxidation chamber, a fan, etc. It absorbs heat during the oxidation process of waste gas through the regenerative chamber, and uses this heat to preheat the newly entered exhaust gas. This effectively reduces heat emissions after exhaust gas treatment. Simultaneously, it minimizes heat loss during exhaust gas heating and oxidation, maintaining a high thermal efficiency (about 98%). The equipment is characterized by safety, reliability, ease of operation and maintenance, low operating costs, and a high VOCs removal rate.
The organic exhaust gas undergoes preheating in the regenerative chamber, then enters the oxidation chamber where it is heated to approximately 800 ºC for VOCs oxidation. The oxidized gas passes through another regenerator for heat treatment before discharge from the RTO system.
RTO is suitable for a wide range of chemical plants, treating exhaust gases from reactors, centrifuges, dryers, coating operations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It is ideal for large volumes of low-concentration exhaust gases with VOC concentrations below 5000PPM.
