Down-flow Rotary Kiln:

It offers advantages such as lower temperature at the kiln head, simplified arrangement for feed, air intake, and auxiliary burner, and convenient operation and maintenance. Counter-flow Rotary Kiln:

Designed for waste materials with higher moisture content and low flammability, the counter-flow rotary kiln is ideal for sludge drying. It requires higher flue gas temperature and longer contact time to effectively dry the material and release volatile water.
